Vendors (Participating Stores)

WIC vendors or retailers are critical partners in the WIC delivery system. Each month, WIC participants receive WIC benefits designed to meet their specific nutritional needs loaded on their eWIC card. The retail store scans the authorized items and the participant enters their PIN to complete the transaction.

In providing this service, WIC vendors play an important role in helping to improve the health of American Samoa women, infants and children. It is only when WIC food instruments or cash value vouchers are properly exchanged for the specific foods that the desired dietary supplementation can be achieved.

WIC participants may shop at any authorized WIC vendor’s store. The WIC vendor may find the WIC program makes a substantial contribution to food sales.
