Vendors (Participating Stores)
WIC vendors and retailers are critical partners in the WIC delivery system. Each month, WIC participants receive benefits designed to meet their specific nutritional needs, which are loaded onto their eWIC cards. At checkout, the retail store scans the authorized items, and the participant enters their PIN to complete the transaction.
By providing this service, WIC vendors play an important role in helping improve the health of women, infants, and children in American Samoa. Properly exchanging WIC benefits for authorized foods helps ensure that participants receive the intended nutritional support.
WIC participants may shop at any authorized WIC vendor. Participating stores may also benefit from increased food sales through the WIC Program.
