WIC Electronic Benefits Transfer

WIC Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) is an electronic system that replaces paper vouchers with a card for food benefit issuance and redemption at authorized WIC grocery stores.

  • The safe and easy way for you to buy your WIC foods.
  • Your family’s WIC food benefits will be automatically loaded on your eWIC card until your next WIC visit.
  • You can use your eWIC Card to purchase your WIC food benefits at WIC stores that display the WIC Accepted Here Sign.
  • EBT does not change the amount of WIC food benefits you receive; it just makes getting them easier and safer. And, you do not have to purchase all of your benefits at one time.
  • If you have questions about your eWIC card, please call 633-2610 or dial 942 from an ASTCA/BlueSky phone or landline.
  • Participants can log on to www.ebtEDGE.com to check their benefits or ask an authorized WIC Vendor to print their balance or they can stop by at a nearby WIC clinic to ask for a summary of their benefit.
  • Participants can download the EzWIC App to their smartphones.
  • Keep your eWIC card number and PIN a secret.
  • If your eWIC card is lost, stolen or damaged, please contact our office immediately at 633-2610 or dial 942.
