WIC Electronic Benefits Transfer

WIC Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) is an electronic system that replaces paper vouchers with a card for food benefit issuance and redemption at authorized WIC grocery stores.

  • WIC participants must present the actual eWIC card to the cashier at an authorized WIC store.
  • The safe and easy way for you to buy your WIC foods.
  • Your family’s WIC food benefits will be automatically loaded onto your eWIC card until your next WIC visit.
  • You can use your eWIC card to purchase your WIC food benefits at WIC stores displaying the WIC Accepted Here sign.
  • EBT does not change the amount of WIC food benefits you receive; it simply makes receiving them easier and safer. You do not have to purchase all of your benefits at one time.
  • If you have questions about your eWIC card, please call (684) 633-2610.
  • Participants can log on to www.ebtedge.com to check their benefits, ask an authorized WIC vendor to print their balance, or visit a nearby WIC clinic for a summary of their benefits.
  • Participants can download the EzWIC app to their smartphones free of charge.
  • Keep your eWIC card number and PIN confidential.
  • If your eWIC card is lost, stolen, or damaged, please contact our office immediately at (684) 633-2610.
